Uniswap's key milestones include: 2025/12 UNIfication proposal activated on-chain, opening the protocol fee switch and establishing a TokenJar/Firepit UNI buyback-and-burn mechanism, marking the transition from a governance token to a cash-flow asset. 2026/7 Robinhood Chain mainnet launch, with v2/v3/v4 and UniswapX deployed on day one, driving protocol revenue to triple after the v4 fee switch activation and making Robinhood Chain the largest income source. 2026/8 Pools.trade token issuance platform launched on Robinhood Chain, extending from DEX to the issuance layer. The Earn feature (on-chain USDC/USDT/ETH yield) and CCA (continuous clearing auction) expansion to Robinhood Chain also represent long-term infrastructure building. Founder Hayden Adams emphasized that AMM could become the core engine of financial markets, with the fee switch controversy clarifying that protocol fees are additive, not deducted from LP earnings.
