About deBridge
deBridge is an intent-based, cross-chain interoperability protocol built to solve liquidity fragmentation across blockchains. Its core product, DLN (deBridge Liquidity Network), operates on a 0-TVL model: instead of locking assets in pools, it broadcasts user intents to a network of solvers who compete to fill orders using their own liquidity. This eliminates pooled-liquidity hack risks and wrapped-token de-pegging issues, while offering near-instant settlement and close-to-spot rates.
Market pain points addressed include: high slippage and capital inefficiency in traditional bridges, security vulnerabilities from locked liquidity pools, and fragmented UX across 25+ chains. deBridge supports cross-chain smart contract calls and atomic multi-step operations via Bundles (launched privately in December 2025).
In the past six months (Feb-Aug 2026), key developments include: the February 2026 MCP server launch, exposing quoting and transaction-generation tools to AI agents while keeping final signing with users; continued growth in cross-chain volume exceeding $20 billion across 25+ chains; and the TRON integration (August 2025) driving significant USDT-related activity. However, DBR staking and slashing remain "coming soon" as of late 2025, and token vesting pressure persists. The protocol faces intense competition from LayerZero, Wormhole, and native L2 bridges.
As a Web3 interoperability layer, deBridge's key milestones include: October 2024 DBR token launch, airdropped to 491,000 early users; July 2025 Reserve Fund launch, using 100% of protocol revenue for daily DBR buybacks, deployed in yield strategies like Aave to enhance purchasing power; August 2025 TRON integration, enabling direct TRC-20 and USDT swaps with 25 other chains, with TRON now accounting for 40% of monthly volume; October 2025 Samechain Meta-Aggregation launch, extending routing capabilities and generating DAO revenue through 8bps spreads; December 2025 private rollout of Bundles for intent-based chain-agnostic atomic transactions; February 2026 MCP server launch, exposing quoting and transaction-generation tools to AI agents while retaining user final signing rights, marking deBridge's entry into the AI agent economy. Coinbase listed DBR spot trading in October 2025. Data shows approximately 40% of BNB Chain's recent cross-chain capital inflows flow through deBridge.
Positive: deBridge's protocol revenue grew steadily over the past six months, with $479K in April, $684K in June, $381K in July, and $501K in August. The reserve fund uses earnings to buy DBR on the open market, now holding 658M DBR (~6.58% of total supply), creating sustained buy pressure. Major progress: launched deBridge MCP (universal trading API for AI agents), integrated Robinhood Chain, Tron inflows exceeded $100M in August, volume reached $611M in August, and Etherscan natively labels cross-chain transactions.
Negative: On July 15, approximately 66.83M DBR (worth ~$10.63M) were unlocked, increasing circulating supply.
