About Chorus One
Chorus One is a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) blockchain validator that operates node infrastructure across more than 40 networks, including Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, and Avalanche. Its core business is running validator nodes on behalf of token holders, who delegate their tokens to Chorus One and earn staking rewards in return. The company serves both institutional clients (via integrations with custody platforms like Ledger Enterprise, Hex Trust, and Cactus Custody) and retail users (through public nodes and embeddable staking widgets).
Its competitive edge lies in operational reliability and security. Chorus One maintains 99.9% node uptime, has never been slashed since its founding in 2018, and operates a $250,000 per quarter self-insurance pool to cover unforeseeable events. It also conducts in-depth network research and enables Maximal Extractable Value (MEV) capabilities on compatible chains to maximize rewards for delegators. The company is ISO 27001 certified, which matters for institutional clients with strict compliance requirements.
The market pain point Chorus One solves is the technical barrier to staking. Running a validator requires a minimum token stake (e.g., 2,000 AVAX for Avalanche), specialized infrastructure, and constant monitoring to avoid penalties from downtime or double-signing. Most token holders lack these resources. By delegating to Chorus One, they participate in network security and governance without any operational burden.
In the past six months (March 2026 to September 2026), Chorus One launched several products: the Earn Widget (an embeddable staking portal for websites and apps), a Rewards Reporting Dashboard for institutional accounting, TON Pool (a staking solution for the TON network), and a Monad Staking Toolkit. It also expanded access through partnerships with OKJ, SafePal, and Bitget, and announced institutional Stacks (STX) staking with Hex Trust. No significant negative events were reported during this period.
During the period, Chorus One completed its brand integration into Bitwise Onchain Solutions (BOS), officially operating under the new name from March following the February 2026 acquisition, with a new website launched in April and validators renamed. In research, it published "An Institutional Guide to Avalanche" and "The State of Schedulers on Solana," focusing on institutional applications and Solana's execution layer. For portfolio optimization, it offboarded 10 networks—Akash, Initia, Peaq, Wormhole, Noble, Axelar, Band, Mezo, Skale, Tezos—to concentrate resources, while retaining 30+ core PoS networks. Future priorities: leveraging Bitwise's institutional channels to deepen the integration of staking infrastructure with DeFi vault curation, expand multichain coverage (Solana, Hyperliquid, Monad, Avalanche, Sui, etc.), and strengthen protocol governance research output, offering integrated onchain yield management solutions for institutions.

Brian Fabian Crain (CEO): Holds an A.B. in Economics from the University of Chicago. Co-founded the Epicenter podcast, served as COO of Tendermint and helped run the Cosmos fundraiser, founded Berlin-based blockchain firm Epiphyte, and was Head of Business Development at Monax. Co-founded Chorus One with Meher in 2018.
Meher Roy (Co-founder, CTO): Holds a Master's in Biochemical Engineering from IIT Delhi. Held management roles at Novartis and GSK. Co-founded Chorus One with Brian in 2018. Sadly passed away on June 22, 2024.
