Stellar's evolution is defined by structural milestones rather than routine partnerships. In 2025, Bermuda announced migrating core payment and financial services to the network, advancing toward a fully on-chain national economy—a sovereign-level endorsement of Stellar's infrastructure. DTCC followed by planning to launch its DTC custody asset tokenization service on Stellar, bridging traditional finance's settlement backbone with a public blockchain. Tradable's decision to move up to $1 billion in private credit assets from ZKsync to Stellar marked a significant RWA migration, while on-chain RWA assets surpassed $3 billion, underscoring Stellar's dominance in tokenized real-world assets despite a modest DeFi TVL of $213 million. Founder Jed McCaleb's $1 billion commitment to develop an AGI system based on human brain principles signaled a long-term vision beyond payments. RedStone's oracle deployment and Rails' institutional-grade vaults further strengthened the network's DeFi and derivatives infrastructure.
