About Layer3
Layer3 is an omnichain identity and distribution protocol that unifies user identity, incentives, and interactions across blockchains. Its core product is the CUBE, a non-transferable onchain credential that records a user's activity history across chains, forming a portable reputation layer. The platform also offers a quest-based distribution network where projects can launch tasks to attract users, and a cross-chain trading interface for token swaps and transfers. The native token $L3 powers a burn-and-stake model: projects burn $L3 to launch campaigns, while users stake $L3 to access tiered rewards and exclusive opportunities.
The main problem Layer3 solves is fragmentation — both for users who must juggle multiple chains and identities, and for projects struggling to acquire quality users efficiently. By aggregating activity into a unified identity and distribution layer, Layer3 reduces friction and improves targeting. Its competitive edge lies in its position as a neutral, chain-agnostic hub that connects projects with a large, active user base, while the CUBE credential system enables more precise user filtering and anti-sybil mechanisms.
Regarding recent development, no reliable public information is available for the period from March to September 2026. The project has not disclosed major updates or milestones during this timeframe. No significant negative events have been reported in the past two years, aside from general market conditions affecting all crypto projects.
Positive: On April 3, 2026, Layer3 launched a trading competition with OstiumLabs, offering 50,000 points to traders, driving L3 up 152% to $0.0223 on April 5 with $43.1M volume; on April 29, it rose another 29% with $10.3M volume, entering CoinGecko's trending list. Tokenomics: dual burn (projects/users burn L3 for access) and triple staking (passive yield, partner tokens, airdrop multipliers) support deflation and demand.
Negative: High volume-to-market-cap ratio (138%) indicates short-term speculative overheating; such surges often retrace 30-50% within a week; L3 remains below its issuance peak, still in an adjustment cycle; micro-cap assets are sensitive to order flow, and without new catalysts, single-day spikes are hard to sustain.
