About Humanity Protocol
Humanity Protocol's key milestones include its emergence from stealth in February 2024, securing strategic investment from over 20 crypto funds, and reaching a $1 billion valuation by May 2024. It launched a testnet and its first 'Proof of Humanity' Fairdrop airdrop, followed by listings on Bithumb and Binance Alpha, plus trading competitions on Binance. A significant token vesting adjustment and large transfers by Jump Trading drew market attention. In June 2026, a security breach compromised private keys, leading to a token migration and recovery plan. These events highlight its growth as an anti-sybil identity layer, though the hack underscores ongoing risks.
Terence Kwok (Founder & CEO) leads Humanity Protocol, a Sybil-resistant blockchain network. João Machado (Co-founder & Head of Marketing/Growth) is also a founding member. Other core team members include Jade (Strategy Director), Ryman Lee (Business Development), and Peter Hui (Advisor). Notable advisors include Yat Siu and Sandeep Nailwal. The project focuses on palm-scanning identity verification using zero-knowledge proofs.
