About Zircuit
Zircuit is an EVM-compatible zero-knowledge rollup built by a team of PhDs and Ethereum Foundation-recognized researchers with an 8-year track record in blockchain security. Its core innovation is Sequencer-Level Security (SLS), an AI-driven system that monitors the mempool, identifies malicious transactions, and quarantines them before they enter blocks, trained on over 4.5 billion transactions across 22 EVM chains.
Key milestones: In February 2024, Zircuit opened staking on Ethereum mainnet, attracting over $2.9 billion in total value locked. In August 2024, the mainnet launched with backing from Binance Labs, Mirana Ventures, and others. On November 25, 2024, the ZRC token began trading after transfer restrictions were lifted, with a total supply of 10 billion tokens—21% allocated for airdrops and community rewards, one of the highest among L2s. The Zircuit Liquidity Hub was also launched to serve as a hub for restaked assets, and a Crypto.com Visa card non-custodial wallet top-up service was introduced. These events mark Zircuit's evolution from a security-focused research project to a fully operational L2 with its own token economy and ecosystem.
