The United States has reached a natural gas delivery agreement with Russia

According to the Wall Street Journal, sources say that the United States is exploring a new agreement with Russia to deliver Russian natural gas to Europe through Ukraine. U.S. negotiators believe that gas sales provide Russian President Vladimir Putin with the incentive to agree to an energy ceasefire with Ukraine.
