The Solana Foundation has appointed former Binance executive Rachel Conlan as Chief Strategy Officer

According to CoinDesk, the Solana Foundation has appointed former Binance executive Rachel Conlan as the new Chief Strategy Officer. Conlan will be responsible for leading institutional partnerships, ecosystem growth, and strategies to attract more businesses to Solana. She previously worked at Binance for three years, serving as the Global Chief Marketing Officer before leaving Binance in June of this year.

The Solana Foundation has also hired Jamal Raees as the General Manager of Payment Operations. Raees joined from Polygon Labs and has previously worked at the stablecoin infrastructure company Bridge (now part of Stripe) and the crypto payment company Wyre. He will focus on driving payment companies and other businesses to utilize the Solana network for fund transfers.
