About Mind Network
Mind Network is a blockchain project built around Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), positioning itself as an encrypted computation layer for AI agents and real-world assets (RWA). Its core business includes an FHE-based consensus mechanism (PoSIV) that allows validators to verify transactions without seeing plaintext data, an encrypted messaging protocol for compliant RWA scenarios, and the x402z standard for confidential agent-to-agent payments.
The main pain point it addresses is the privacy gap in blockchain and AI agent economies: traditional blockchains expose all data publicly, while AI agents handling sensitive strategies, payment intents, or proprietary data cannot afford such transparency. Mind Network's FHE approach enables computation on encrypted data, protecting inputs, outputs, and agent strategies throughout the entire process.
In the past six months (2026-02-28 to 2026-08-29), Mind Network has made notable progress. It announced x402z in January 2026 with Zama, built on the ERC-7984 standard, enabling private A2A payments. DeepSeek integrated Mind's FHE Rust SDK into its open-source models in late 2025, marking the first FHE integration by a major AI provider. The project also launched Encrypted Messaging Onchain in August 2025 for RWA compliance scenarios. A limited mainnet deployment is targeted for Q3 2026.
However, significant concerns remain. FHE performance is still 100-1000x slower than plaintext computation, with current throughput around 20 TPS versus a roadmap target of 500-1000 TPS. Hardware centralization pressure exists as FHE relies heavily on specialized accelerators. Key management remains a weak point, as decryption keys must be distributed via threshold MPC schemes. Additionally, an April 2026 analysis suggested up to 76% of "agent trading volume" might be bots moving stablecoins between contracts rather than genuine autonomous commerce.
Mind Network was founded by Christian Pusateri (CEO), George Shao (Co-founder), and Mason Song (Co-founder, also known as Dennis Song, CSO). Christian previously worked in sales at BurstIQ and IoTeX. George has a background as a solution architect at Alibaba Cloud and data science manager at Barclays. Dennis (Mason) was a security engineer at Microsoft. The team focuses on FHE-based solutions for Web3, with Mind Network serving as a restaking layer for PoS and AI networks.
Recent team change at Mind Network: CEO Christian Pusateri departed in August 2026. He joined the company in July 2024 and served as CEO. This departure is the most significant personnel change recently.
