About GoPlus Security
GoPlus Security is a modular user security layer for Web3, providing real-time risk detection APIs covering token security, malicious addresses, NFT security, approval security, dApp security info, signature decoding, phishing site detection, and transaction simulation for both EVM and Solana. It also offers the SafeToken Protocol for secure token issuance templates and liquidity locking tools, plus a browser extension and mobile app for end-user protection.
The core market pain point is that Web3 users face scams, phishing, and malicious tokens before signing transactions, while wallets and DEXs cannot afford to build their own threat intelligence systems. GoPlus solves this by acting as a shared security data layer that any project can integrate permissionlessly.
Its main competitiveness lies in real adoption: MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Uniswap, and Binance integrate its APIs. Token Security API averaged 717 million monthly calls in 2025, with a February peak near 1 billion, covering 40+ chains. In April 2026, it blocked 2.3 million fraudulent transactions, saving users approximately $45.8 million.
In the past six months (2026-03-12 to 2026-09-12), GoPlus expanded Solana-specific token security (SPL and SPL-2022) and transaction simulation APIs, launched DeepScan for AI-driven token audits, and introduced AgentGuard for AI Agent skill scanning. The browser extension reportedly protects ~$356M in assets with 125K daily active users.
However, significant negative developments exist. In March 2025, Binance penalized the market maker Web3Port, which is also a GoPlus investor, for manipulation involving GPS, SHELL, and MOVE tokens. Additionally, actual paid API subscription revenue is only ~$0.5M cumulative, as most large integrations use the free tier. The token is down ~97% from its ATH, with DEX liquidity below $4K and the team's own wallet holding 23.7% of supply, raising concerns about real free float.
Since 2022, GoPlus started with an open security data layer, reaching 30 million daily API calls, covering 30+ public chains, protecting over 12 million wallet addresses, and forming the prototype of a modular user security layer.
In April 2024, it launched SecNet, the world's first user-security-centric RPC service, and SecHub, an on-chain personal security center, supporting ETH and BNB mainnets, capable of blocking black-address interactions, phishing, risky approvals, and MEV threats.
In 2024, it introduced SecWareX and the SecWare Protocol, building a decentralized security ecosystem where developers can register security services and users can customize policies. The USM SDK further embeds security capabilities into dApps, wallets, RPCs, and chains.
Later it launched GSM, the first chain-native security firewall. In BNB Chain tests, it detected 97% of historical attack transactions with only 40ms added latency, embedding an 'on-chain immune system' into nodes.
On the token economy, GPS was listed on Binance and Bithumb. The team completed five buybacks totaling over 175 million GPS and burned 177 million tokens, reinforcing long-term value.
Future plans include building trustless payment security based on the x402 protocol and expanding risk identification to prediction markets (e.g., GoPredict), continuously evolving toward a full-chain security layer.
