About Dolomite
Dolomite is a margin trading and lending protocol supporting over-collateralized loans, leveraged trading, and spot trading. Its core competitiveness lies in its modular architecture and virtual liquidity system, allowing users to earn both trading and lending yields simultaneously, improving capital efficiency. It addresses issues of low capital utilization and fragmented liquidity in traditional DeFi.
In the past six months, Dolomite expanded across multiple chains. As of May 2026, it was deployed on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Berachain, and Botanix, with Ethereum having the highest TVL and Arbitrum the most users. Governance-wise, the community proposed native limit orders and veDOLO borrowing discounts.
On the negative side, in late August 2026, WLFI borrowed $50.44 million in stablecoins on Dolomite, pushing pool utilization above 100%, nearly draining liquidity and spiking interest rates, raising concerns about concentration risk.
Dolomite, an Arbitrum-based margin trading and lending protocol, held its TGE on April 24. WLFI launched a lending marketplace powered by Dolomite and fully repaid its 25 million USD1 loans, restoring deposit rates to 10.43%. These milestones highlight Dolomite's expanding role in institutional DeFi lending infrastructure.
