About Concrete
Concrete is an on-chain yield vault protocol where users deposit assets like USDT and WBTC, and the protocol automatically deploys them via strategies such as delta-neutral arbitrage to generate yield. It currently holds over $1.2 billion in deposits. Its core is automated vault management and rebalancing, solving the pain points of manual risk management and NAV tracking.
Regarding recent developments, after integrating with Binance Wallet in March 2026, it was exposed that a rebalancing trade swapped 1M USDT for USDC with a slippage as high as 0.49%, far exceeding normal levels, leading to user fund erosion. The team did not respond. In August, Concrete launched the USD1 RWA Vault, expanding into real-world assets like private credit.
Concrete was founded by Blueprint Finance after the 2022 FTX collapse to build an on-chain debt credit system, addressing the trust deficit in centralized finance. In 2024, the project completed a $7.5 million funding round led by Hashed and Tribe Capital, with participation from SALT and Kyber, laying the groundwork for cross-chain expansion.
In October of the same year, Concrete acquired Jet, an early money market protocol on Solana, marking its official expansion into non-EVM networks; the new Jet will be deployed on Solana and Atlas chains. These milestones established its position as institutional-grade on-chain asset management infrastructure, progressively forming a multi-chain structured finance ecosystem covering yield optimization, lending, and risk protection.
Over the past six months (2026-03-02 to 2026-09-02), Concrete has advanced its on-chain debt credit infrastructure through several major milestones.
Key developments include: (1) A strategic partnership with Euler to build institutional-grade lending markets, leveraging Euler's risk-isolated credit architecture; (2) Becoming a curator on Morpho, adding non-custodial vault curation layers for custom on-chain lending strategies with systematic risk management; (3) Launching the USD1 RWA Vault backed by WLFI, connecting stablecoin holders to real-world yield through tokenized private credit and other RWA opportunities; (4) Completing a strategic funding round led by Polychain Capital with participation from Bullish, Keyrock, BitGo, FalconX, and others, spanning venture capital, institutional trading, custody, and liquidity provision.
Looking ahead, Concrete's official roadmap focuses on: scaling its full-stack vault infrastructure to enable institutions, protocols, and asset managers to deploy sophisticated on-chain strategies; expanding the Concrete ecosystem with new financial primitives such as AssetCX and concUSD; deepening integration with Euler and Morpho to broaden risk-isolated lending markets; and continuing to develop RWA-focused products that bridge traditional finance with DeFi liquidity. The team emphasizes a capital preservation philosophy, prioritizing conservative collateral selection and transparent risk controls over yield chasing.
