About Turtle
Turtle is a non-custodial liquidity distribution protocol that routes user capital into partner DeFi protocols by rule and tracks the incentives liquidity providers are owed. It targets DeFi incentives that leak to bots and mercenary capital, users not receiving their due, and protocols unable to measure results by channel.
The mechanism never takes custody: it reads positions through APIs and onchain indexing, computes allocations from weekly snapshots and distributes an extra incentive layer, while partners can target subsidies at specific goals. Nine partnerships went live in Q2 2026, alongside a channel-attributed distribution program and a developer kit preview. Revenue depends on partner budgets, so liquidity tends to leave when incentives stop.
Turtle was founded in 2024 and launched in March of the same year as an on-chain liquidity distribution protocol, coordinating capital and protocols through a data-driven layer. In May 2025, it completed a $6.2 million seed round led by THEIA, with participation from SIG, Consensys, Laser Digital, etc., activating over $2.3 billion in liquidity. In September 2025, the TURTLE token was issued, and in October its tokenomics were announced: total supply 1 billion, with 13.9% allocated for airdrops. That same month, it closed a $5.5 million strategic round with GSR participating, bringing total funding to $11.7 million. It then gained Binance ecosystem support: HODLer airdrop on Oct 21, Binance Alpha listing on Oct 22, and spot and multiple trading services on Oct 23; MEXC also listed TURTLE spot, futures, and leverage trading. These events made Turtle one of Web3's largest liquidity hubs, connecting over 358,000 wallets and coordinating over $5.5 billion in liquidity.
Listing and airdrop: Binance's 55th HODLer Airdrop distributed 10 million TURTLE to users who subscribed BNB between October 14 and 16, with trading opening October 22 at 15:00; initial float is 154.7 million tokens, 15.47% of supply.
Fundamentals: Total supply is 1 billion, with 13.9% for airdrops and community rewards. Turtle has routed more than $5.5 billion in liquidity, connected over 360,000 wallets and 150 liquidity providers, and raised $11.7 million in total; the price was about $0.037 in September.
In January 2026, Turtle integrated Chainlink CCIP, enabling secure cross-chain TURTLE transfers across Ethereum, BNB Chain and Linea; on April 22 it published its Q1 2026 report, the first to disclose live, traceable revenue data.
Future strategy and roadmap: On July 23, Turtle announced the acquisition of Lisbon-based marketing agency Lunar Strategy (which has served 400+ crypto projects), combining capital deployment with community growth. Across Q2 it rolled out the permissionless Streams incentive distribution layer, the Turtle Master Vaults advanced vault structure, and the partner-facing Portfolio Data API alongside Earn's first USDC distributor payouts. The forward roadmap targets $1 million in monthly recurring revenue, $10 billion in total liquidity provisioned and 1 million unique wallets; in the second half of 2026 Turtle will further expand Earn ecosystem integrations and keep building out its liquidity distribution and attribution infrastructure.
