About Sanctum
Sanctum is a liquid staking protocol on Solana. Its core business is providing staking-as-a-service infrastructure, allowing any project to issue its own liquid staking token (LST) while offering users a unified liquidity layer through its Infinity pool. The protocol aggregates staked SOL from various LSTs, enabling instant entry and exit without waiting for epoch-long unstaking periods.
The main market pain point Sanctum addresses is the illiquidity and fragmentation of staked assets. Traditional staking locks funds for extended periods, and the proliferation of isolated LSTs creates fragmented liquidity. Sanctum solves this by acting as a central liquidity hub, where users can swap between different LSTs seamlessly and deploy staked SOL as collateral or leverage.
Its core competitiveness lies in its position as the "prime desk" for Solana's SOL economy. By powering over 1,000 partner LSTs—including those from major exchanges and protocols—Sanctum has become the default infrastructure layer. The protocol has generated over $185 million in cumulative yield for users and maintains a TVL exceeding 16.4 million SOL, making it the largest liquid staking platform on Solana.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Sanctum demonstrated resilience despite market downturns. SOL-denominated TVL grew 17.4% year-to-date and 18% in the last 30 days, while Q1 2026 revenue hit an all-time quarterly high of $13,775. Key developments included the launch of Infinity V2, which enables slot-level reward distribution for faster compounding, and the debut of its mobile app on Solana's Seeker dApp store to attract non-crypto-native users.
However, the protocol faced challenges. Q2 2026 revenue declined 39.7% quarter-over-quarter to $880,000, highlighting the difficulty of converting TVL growth into sustainable fees. Additionally, in early April 2026, a security incident affected the broader DeFi ecosystem, prompting Sanctum to prioritize security enhancements across its infrastructure.
Sanctum launched its V2 version, marking a major protocol upgrade that enhances scalability and efficiency for liquid staking on Solana.
It introduced Creator Coins, enabling users to create personalized tokens and expanding long-term application possibilities within the ecosystem.
The upcoming CLOUD staking service further strengthens core staking infrastructure.
Positive: INF V2 and Sanctum App launched in March; Q2 TVL hit a record 16.64M SOL. In August, CLOUD staking and Active Staking Rewards ended, removing staking dilution; in September, a proposal to burn 259M CLOUD (~25% supply) and rename to SANC was put forward, improving supply/demand and brand recognition.
Negative: Q2 protocol revenue was $0.88M, down 39.7% QoQ (only 1.1% in SOL terms); SOL price fell 37% YTD, pressuring USD revenue; treasury fell 63.3% QoQ to $5.84M; SIMD-550 could compress staking yields and affect revenue.
Sanctum co-founders: Jaye Tan, FP Lee, and Jesse Cho.

Jaye Tan (Co-founder): Law graduate from National University of Singapore; co-founder of Sanctum.
Sanctum, Solana's leading liquid staking protocol, has strengthened its institutional focus with a key hire. Andrea Ang joined in July 2026 as Head of Institutional Sales, bringing experience from Zodia Custody and SGB. Sanctum reported its 11th consecutive quarter of SOL TVL growth, now representing ~2.72% of all SOL in circulation, and has recently added dedicated institutional sales hires to drive further adoption.
