About QCP Capital
QCP Capital is a digital-asset trading company founded in Singapore in 2017, serving institutional clients worldwide with over-the-counter spot, derivatives and structured solutions, plus market-making and liquidity support. Its core capability is in-house pricing and risk systems combined with a cross-market liquidity network, giving large trades quotes and execution in volatile conditions; on the asset side it relies on top-tier custody and security arrangements, with a team of more than 150 across Singapore, New York, Abu Dhabi, Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur.
In the institutional crypto services landscape QCP divides labor with regulated platforms such as Sygnum and Independent Reserve: the former excels in trade execution and structuring while the latter focuses on licensed custody and exchange business. Its OTC and structured products are available only to qualified professional clients, and the company discloses on its site that payment-token derivatives (PTD) services fall outside its MAS licensing, with compliance boundaries cut per product line rather than covered as a whole.
On October 5, 2026, QCP published its fourth-quarter digital asset outlook, calling for bitcoin to range between $80,000 and $90,000 and flagging the Federal Reserve's 25 basis point hike to 3.75%-4.00% on September 16 as the main variable; the report also noted stablecoin supply had fallen to about $308 billion from a May peak of $322 billion.
On April 8, 2026, QCP met the SEC's crypto task force to seek guidance on which crypto-linked structured notes and yield-bearing debt securities count as securities, and on marketing and disclosure rules. The firm plans a US office and broker-dealer registration with the SEC and FINRA, and currently holds a Major Payment Institution licence in Singapore and Category 3A permissions in Abu Dhabi.
QCP Capital's Future strategy and roadmap: QCP advises clients to keep core bitcoin exposure while replacing high leverage with defined-risk option structures, and to package spot, stablecoins, fixed income and bespoke exotics into institutional solutions, with US market entry and Asia-Pacific market-making depth as parallel priorities.
