About Nansen
Nansen is a blockchain intelligence platform centered on on-chain data analysis and address labeling. It covers 30+ chains and has labeled over 500 million addresses, including Smart Money and whales, helping users track capital flows and monitor abnormal wallet or token activity. Its core advantage lies in years of accumulated address labels and AI-driven data organization, which translates raw on-chain data into actionable signals.
Nansen solves two key problems: on-chain data is too messy for ordinary users to identify capital movements and project quality, and the gap between insight and execution forces users to switch between multiple tools. To address this, Nansen has shifted from pure analytics to an "intelligence + execution" model, integrating Jupiter, OKX, and LI.FI routing so users can trade spot and Hyperliquid perpetuals directly on the platform.
In the past six months, Nansen launched Agentic Trading to close the loop from signal to execution, released the Nansen AI mobile agent with natural-language interaction and embedded self-custody wallets on Ethereum and major EVM networks, and planned autonomous trading for Q4. Direct trading volume has surpassed $500 million. Robinhood integration was added, and about 10 of the top 15 perpetual contracts on the platform are non-crypto assets such as SpaceX, the S&P 500, gold, and crude oil.
On the negative side, Nansen disclosed that one trading agent spent $700 in inference costs to earn only $23 in profit, showing the economics are still immature. Due to risks of data poisoning and prompt injection, autonomous agents will not be released to users immediately and will first undergo backtesting and paper trading. Overall, Nansen is evolving from an on-chain analytics tool into an AI-agent trading gateway.
Nansen has advanced AI integration in blockchain analytics.
It launched AI trading features on Solana and Base, unifying analysis and execution. AI agents were introduced with autonomous trading targeted for Q4. Plans include upgrading Nansen AI and releasing the first JVP protocol. A local entity will be established in Bhutan's Gelephu Mindfulness City, while Solana on-chain analysis integration strengthened core data capabilities.
In the past six months, Nansen shifted from an on-chain analytics platform to integrated "signal-to-fill": in August 2026 it launched a trade execution API supporting spot on Solana and Base and perpetuals on Hyperliquid, letting developers monitor signals and place orders through the same interface . It also released Backtesting API endpoints that reconstruct holders, flows, PnL and wallet state at any historical date, enabling strategy backtests and AI agent training . On product side, it is pushing Agentic Trading: an AI agent autonomously performs signal detection, research, decision, execution and exit using 500M+ labeled wallets, with an in-app Privy non-custodial wallet and order routing via Jupiter, OKX DEX and LI.FI . CEO Alex Svanevik publicly predicted AI trading agents will surpass human traders within about two years; Nansen is rebuilding its infrastructure to serve autonomous agents with machine-readable APIs, real-time signal streams and contextual tagging rather than human dashboards . Future focus is becoming an agent-native data and execution layer.
