About Mira
Mira is a decentralized AI verification layer that breaks AI outputs into individual claims and distributes them to a network of independent verification nodes. These nodes, running diverse AI models, cross-check each claim through a consensus mechanism to determine its accuracy. This approach directly addresses the hallucination problem common in large language models, where AI generates confident but factually wrong information. Traditional solutions like human review are costly and slow, rule-based filters are too rigid, and model self-evaluation is unreliable. Mira's multi-model consensus design reduces systemic bias by preventing over-reliance on any single AI, while cryptoeconomic incentives encourage nodes to provide honest assessments. The system has already processed millions of queries from over 4.5 million users, with reported accuracy improvements from 70% to 96% and a 90% reduction in hallucinations. In the past six months (2026-03-01 to 2026-09-01), Mira launched its Voyager testnet with enhanced generation and verification capabilities, officially listed the MIRA token on Binance in late September 2025, and released developer tools in early 2026 to facilitate third-party integration. However, the token unlock schedule poses potential selling pressure, with significant unlocks expected around mid-2026. Additionally, the verification mechanism may struggle with highly specialized or subjective domains where expert consensus is difficult to achieve, and cross-language verification quality remains inconsistent.
Mira Network, a decentralized AI infrastructure, has achieved several milestones since its inception. In early 2024, the project was founded and subsequently completed a $9 million seed round led by Bitkraft Ventures and Framework Ventures, marking its initial institutional validation. Shortly after, the company strengthened its leadership by hiring former Uber executive Ninad Naik as Chief Product Officer, bringing enterprise-scale AI experience.
The network launched its public testnet in March 2025, quickly gaining traction with over 4 million users and processing 3 billion daily tokens. This growth was accompanied by the release of a Messari research report highlighting the platform's accuracy improvement to 96% through its decentralized verification mechanism. In recognition of its innovation, Mira was selected for CB Insights' Top 100 Emerging AI Startups in 2025.
A significant ecosystem development was the collaboration with KaitoAI to launch the Yapper leaderboard, allocating 0.5% of future token supply to reward community contributions. The subsequent "Voice of the Realm" content campaign introduced Mira Scrolls, an AI assistant for creators, further expanding community engagement. The project also initiated its Drop 1 sale, which sold out rapidly, demonstrating strong market demand.
The most recent milestone was the official launch of Mira Verify in July 2025, a production-ready API service that operationalizes the network's core verification technology, enabling developers to integrate AI output validation into their applications. This transition from research to commercial product represents a critical step toward establishing Mira as the trust layer for AI systems.
Mira Network's key leadership includes co-founder Karan Sirdesai and Chief Product Officer Ninad Naik. Karan Sirdesai is a co-founder of Mira, with a background in technology and entrepreneurship. Ninad Naik serves as CPO, previously holding product leadership roles at Uber and Amazon, and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
