About Brila
Brila is a modular DeFi infrastructure platform operating three core verticals: NFT finance via Cyan, institutional real-world asset (RWA) lending vaults, and treasury management solutions under the Elara brand. Its value proposition centers on generating revenue through disciplined capital allocation and risk management rather than relying on token emissions.
The platform addresses key market pain points: fragmented DeFi lending lacks institutional-grade underwriting, NFT assets suffer from illiquidity, and traditional finance struggles to integrate with on-chain systems. Brila solves these by combining off-chain borrower underwriting with on-chain transparency, defined collateral frameworks, and automated market-making mechanisms.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Brila launched its BRLA token natively on HyperEVM using the HIP-1 standard, with HIP-2 providing automated protocol-level liquidity from day one—maintaining a 0.3% spread on a live order book without external market makers. A dedicated swap portal allocated 35% of BRLA supply to TRU token holders, fully unlocked on April 30, 2026. The team also explored governance solutions and developed an on-chain dashboard for transparent fund tracking.

Rafael Cosman (Co-Founder)
Rafael Cosman is a co-founder of Brila. He previously co-founded TrustToken (now Archblock), where he served as Head of Engineering and later CEO. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and has worked at Palantir Technologies, Google, and Lightspeed Venture Partners. He is also the founder of Protogon Research, an AI research group.
