About Bit2Me
Bit2Me, founded in 2014 in Spain, is one of the earliest crypto exchanges in Southern Europe. Its key milestones include: 1) In 2023, obtaining the MiCA license from Spain's CNMV, becoming one of the first exchanges authorized under the EU's new crypto-asset regulation framework, allowing operations across the entire European Economic Area. 2) In 2024, receiving a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) license in Argentina, marking its expansion into Latin America. 3) In 2025, completing a €30 million funding round led by Tether (which acquired a minority stake), with participation from major traditional financial institutions like Bankinter, Telefónica, and BBVA. This marked a strategic shift from retail-focused services to institutional B2B infrastructure, including providing backend crypto services for Garanti BBVA in Turkey and launching a custody and trading platform with Cecabank. 4) The company's revenue grew from €25 million in 2023 to €53 million in 2025, with B2B revenue share rising from 18% to 27%.
Positive factors:
In June 2026, Bit2Me obtained a PSD2 payment license, followed by the MiCA license in July, becoming a fully regulated European crypto service provider. In September, it launched Bit2Shield, a legal-tech unit, boosting institutional trust.
Bit2Me Earn introduced a new 150 million B2M reward pool with optimized distribution weighted by Space Center level and lock-up duration, enhancing long-term holder benefits. New token issuance is capped below 10% of circulating supply, with expected buying pressure exceeding issuance by at least 25%, improving supply-demand dynamics.
The B2M lock-up system was upgraded, allowing transfers from flexible to locked pools and extending lock periods, improving holder rights.
Negative factors:
- The 150 million B2M reward pool still represents new token issuance/unlocks, adding potential short-term selling pressure; users with low levels or no lock-ups may see diluted rewards.
