According to Chainwire, on-chain transaction infrastructure provider Orbs announced a strategic investment in CRYMBO.

CRYMBO is a financial infrastructure platform aimed at licensed institutions, helping banks, payment service providers, and brokers launch digital asset services under their own brands and regulatory frameworks. The announcement stated that institutions entering the on-chain market need to handle identity verification, compliance, custody, settlement, payments, and reconciliation in addition to liquidity and blockchain technology.

CRYMBO connects over 75 service providers through a single integration, covering custody, liquidity, banking channels, payments, identity verification, and transaction monitoring, allowing institutions to coordinate these services in a customized process while retaining service provider choices. The platform does not hold customer funds or private keys, and institutions operate under their own brands and licenses.

Officials stated that the platform has served licensed institutions, processing a cumulative transaction volume of over $2 billion. The infrastructure is ISO 27001 certified and built in accordance with EU MiCA and Financial Action Task Force Travel Rule requirements.

Orbs CEO Ran Hammer stated: The adoption of on-chain finance by institutions depends on infrastructure that adapts to the realities of regulated financial services. Orbs focuses on trading and execution, while CRYMBO provides the compliance, identity, and operational layers that institutions need.

Orbs offers dSPOT spot trading, dPERPS perpetual contracts, and on-chain execution services through its own Layer 3 network, with a cumulative execution transaction volume exceeding $14 billion. CRYMBO founder and CEO Eyal Daskal stated: The collaboration between the two parties will help expand business and reach more customers.
