Tether: As of the end of the third quarter, XAUT gold reserves reached approximately 25.7 tons, equivalent to about 3.44 billion USD

Tether released the Tether Gold (XAUT) third-quarter reserve report. As of September 30, the physical gold reserves backing XAUT reached 827,418 troy ounces (approximately 25.7 tons), an increase of 59% from 520,089 troy ounces (approximately 16.2 tons) at the end of 2025. Based on a price of $4,157.41 per ounce, the market value is approximately $3.44 billion. The circulation of XAUT is 827,418 tokens, with each token corresponding to 1 troy ounce of physical gold, of which approximately 709,000 have been sold, and about 118,000 are available for sale.

The aforementioned gold is stored in Switzerland and meets the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) good delivery standards, consisting of a total of 2,057 gold bars weighing 12.5 kilograms each, with 766 bars added this year.
