A proposal for token permissions on the XRP Ledger is expected to be activated on Wednesday. This proposal currently has the support of 33 out of 35 trusted validators.

Meanwhile, a related independent proposal aimed at preventing unauthorized token holders is still under review and has not yet entered the activation phase.
