U.S. sanctions threats may lead India to reduce its procurement of Russian crude oil

Indian refiners are seeking crude oil purchases for delivery in November. Due to the sanctions bill signed by the United States last week, India may reduce its crude oil purchases from Russia.

As the world's third-largest crude oil buyer, India has imported more than half of its total imports from Russia.
