Wagyu

Wagyu is a cross-chain swap and bridge service built around Monero. Users deposit from Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron and other networks and receive native XMR at an address they control, with no account. It answers the narrowing of XMR spot access after several regulated venues delisted the asset, which left peer-to-peer matching without comparable quotes, by replacing the search for a counterparty with execution at orderbook prices.

Execution runs opposite to instant-swap venues: orders are not quoted from operator inventory but routed to Hyperliquid's on-chain orderbook, where market makers compete, converting the deposit into XMR1, the wrapped representation on HyperCore, before a native XMR-to-XMR1 bridge releases coins on Monero. Large orders are sliced and filled over time to limit slippage, and cross-chain legs go through a bridge aggregator. Screening runs before execution, and deposits that fail are returned to the sending address rather than held first and reviewed afterwards; the refund process publishes its address and timing requirements. On 18 August 2026 cumulative volume passed 700 million dollars and median settlement was about 5.5 minutes, with REST and WebSocket interfaces opened so third parties can resell the routing under their own brand and margin.
