Trump: Iran uses AI to create false military information and collaborates with the media to spread false reports about the U.S. military

Former U.S. President Trump posted on the Truth Social platform, stating that Iran has long excelled in media manipulation and public relations, and is now using AI as a new tool for misinformation. Iran showcased fake images of suicide speedboat attacks, but these speedboats do not exist. Trump mentioned that, according to reports from the Wall Street Journal and other media, of the five U.S. refueling aircraft that were previously reported shot down, all but one new aircraft have returned to service.

Iran also collaborated with the media to fabricate AI-generated images of the USS Abraham Lincoln burning at sea, but the ship has not actually suffered any attacks. Trump stated that FCC Chairman Brendan Carr is reviewing the broadcast licenses of certain news organizations.
