Vitalik proposed a five-year innovation plan for Ethereum, which will undergo four major upgrades

Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently shared the Ethereum development plan on social media. He stated that he will build a "non-ugly Ethereum based on cyberpunk principles" on the existing system, and plans to achieve significant upgrades in the next five years through four "in-flight engine replacements," including state trees, streamlined consensus, ZK-EVM verification, and virtual machine changes.
