Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on social media, stating that in 2014 he envisioned building a decentralized, permissionless application network based on a technology stack. Taking Fileverse, a decentralized alternative to Google Docs/Sheets, as an example, its usability has significantly improved, utilizing Ethereum and Gnosis chains to handle accounts, processing documents with decentralized messaging and storage, and also through open-source "exit tests." He criticized the various drawbacks of "bloated corporate products" and cited cases to prove that the risks are real.

Today, decentralized applications like Fileverse are good enough to use. He frequently uses it to write and collaborate on documents, contrasting it with the difficulties of decentralized applications in 2014. He calls on builders to collectively embrace the decentralized renaissance.
