Morgan Stanley: The US December CPI report shows a rebound in price pressures

According to Jinshi News, Morgan Stanley expects that the overall monthly inflation rate in the U.S. December CPI report, to be released later today, will reach 0.37%, with an annual rate of 2.7%. The core monthly inflation rate is expected to be 0.36%, with an annual rate of 2.8%. Morgan Stanley pointed out that the later data collection period for the November survey and the higher urban inflation levels will push the December core monthly inflation rate up by about 11 basis points, indicating a significant rebound in price pressures.
