According to official news, PayPal has officially announced support for Google's Universal Commerce Protocol (UCP) and will soon become a payment option in the new checkout feature supported by UCP within Google. This collaboration aims to enable merchants to offer their products and support purchases in Google's AI mode and the Gemini app.

It is worth noting that PayPal announced an upgrade to its P2P payment experience last September, which will integrate cryptocurrency into its new P2P payment process within the app and launch a personalized link transfer service.
