The Zcash supporting organization ECC team has collectively resigned to form a new company to continue the mission of privacy currency

ECC's former CEO Josh Swihart stated that due to serious differences in mission with some board members of the Zcash governance body Bootstrap (ZCAM), all members of ECC (Electric Coin Company) collectively resigned yesterday and are forming a new company to continue the development of Zcash-related privacy technologies.

Swihart emphasized that the Zcash protocol itself is unaffected, and this move aims to resist destructive interference from the governance layer, ensuring that the team can sustainably advance the vision of "unstoppable private money."
