The UK financial regulator simplifies retail investment rules to promote market investment

The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) announced on Monday plans to amend a series of rules aimed at simplifying the process for the public to participate in market investments.

Under the new regulations, investment firms will no longer be required to provide complex key information documents for retail products, replaced instead by a more concise "product summary."
