About Talus

Talus is AI agent infrastructure on Sui that aims to make agents verifiable when they execute tasks: its core protocol provides a decentralised workflow layer where developers write composable automation in a Python-like environment, heavy compute runs off chain on a set of execution nodes, and results are verified back on chain, with cryptographic proofs via zero-knowledge machine learning and a browser for checking whether an agent's output was executed correctly. It targets agents that cannot prove compliance when handling funds and permissions.

Standardising compute off chain and prove on chain is the difference from putting a model inside a contract: a contract cannot run a large model but can verify someone else's arithmetic. Mainnet launched on Sui on 15 April 2026, a second protocol version was deployed on 26 August, a public API opened on 10 September and the brand and site were refreshed around then. The ecosystem is early and the token rose several-fold in July before falling about 80%, showing price is narrative-driven while real call volume takes time.

Key milestones for Talus (AI blockchain platform) based on official site and news:

  1. Feb 2024: $3M seed round led by Polychain Capital, joined by Hash3, dao5, TRGC, WAGMI Ventures, Inception Capital.

  2. Nov 2024: $6M funding at $150M valuation, led by Polychain Capital with Foresight Ventures, Animoca, Geek Cartel, Echo; angel investors include Polygon co-founder Sandeep Nailwal and others.

  3. Sep 10, 2025: Talus Foundation established, Litepaper released detailing the Talus Agentic Framework (TAF), Nexus protocol, and $US token economics (10B total supply, deflationary). Mainnet and TGE announced as upcoming.

  4. Sep 18, 2025: Testnet launch.

  5. Nov 24-28, 2025: First-of-its-kind 100% LP-form airdrop registration (yUS via NODO AI Vault), with a $10 SUI fee paid to Clique; claims open for 3 days with no exceptions.

  6. Dec 11, 2025: $US token officially listed; airdrop distribution begins.

  7. Apr 15, 2026: Talus Protocol contracts deployed to Sui mainnet, entering a permissioned closed mainnet phase; first ecosystem app Doppel Games enters closed Alpha.

  8. May 20, 2026: Talus/acc accelerator announced with Cicada Capital and Sui Network, offering milestone-based grants paid in $US and stablecoins.

  9. Binance-related events: Binance Alpha airdrop threshold set at 236 Alpha points; airdrop delayed then resumed at 20:20; Binance Futures launched USUSDT and CYSUSDT perpetual contracts.

Mainnet and ecosystem: Protocol v2.0 went live on Sui mainnet on August 27, standardizing AI-agent identity, skill registration and payments; core contracts were published to the Sui Move Registry on September 4 and the Talus API opened on September 10 for developers to index agent and transaction data.

Listing: Bithumb opened US/KRW trading on October 2 at a KRW 37.85 reference price with Sui-only deposits and withdrawals; the US token has a 10 billion cap and is used for workflow fees, staking and governance.

Updated: Oct 30, 2026

Talus completed its shift from testnet to production-grade AI agent infrastructure in 2026. On April 15, 2026, Talus Protocol v1.0 deployed on the Sui mainnet, opening a closed mainnet phase; on August 26, v2.0 went live on mainnet with five upgrades: the Talus Agent Package (TAP) standard, on-chain execution-proof verification, protocol-wide error handling, zero-downtime versioning and priority fees. In September, Talus shipped the Talus API (a high-performance data indexing layer), Talus Vision (an agent-centric network explorer) and Sui Move Registry package integration; on May 20 it launched the Talus/acc accelerator with the Sui Foundation and Cicada Capital, drawing over 50 applicants and 7 finalists; on September 22 it unveiled a brand redesign.

Talus's future strategy centers on opening the ecosystem: the roadmap plans permissionless node operators, automated slashing for faulty behavior, and deeper crypto-economic incentives, moving the on-chain AI agent economy from a closed mainnet toward a decentralized production environment.
