StarkWare CEO and Zcash co-founder Eli Ben-Sasson posted on the X platform that he articulated the mission of Starknet, which is to promote the development of the Bitcoin economy, during his first conversation with Strategy founder and executive chairman Michael Saylor. Additionally, another topic they discussed was privacy. Saylor believes that Bitcoin should not have privacy features, at least not adopting a privacy model similar to Zcash, as this would give sovereign nations a reason to ban it. Ben-Sasson disagrees. He believes that both can be accommodated, allowing for privacy protection while also permitting key visibility.

They also exchanged views on OPCAT. Saylor is concerned about making too many changes too quickly. However, Ben-Sasson disagrees, arguing that OPCAT has undergone extensive debate and research, and ten years is sufficient; there is no need to delay for hundreds of years.
