Bank of England Governor: Any stablecoin widely used in the UK in the future should be able to access central bank accounts

ChainCatcher news, according to Jinshi reports, Bank of England Governor Andrew Bailey stated that any stablecoin widely used in the UK in the future should be able to connect to the Bank of England's accounts to strengthen its monetary status.

Bailey also pointed out that stablecoins could help drive the financial system's transition from a commercial lending model.
