ChainCatcher news, according to AFP, Telegram founder Pavel Durov was questioned by French investigating judges in Paris on Monday regarding the platform's alleged assistance in criminal activities. Since his detention in Paris in 2024, Durov has been repeatedly accused of being linked to organized crime, illegal trading, and the dissemination of illegal content. Durov denies all allegations and has stated through his lawyer that he has detailed the absurdity of the relevant facts to the investigators.
Since Durov's arrest, the French judiciary has reported an improvement in cooperation with Telegram. Durov's lawyer has questioned the constitutionality of the case and has applied to the European Court of Justice for a preliminary ruling.
