He started his career at The Boston Consulting Group and has worked in the US, Europe, and Asia. Haichen Shen
Haichen Shen is the co-founder of Scroll and leads the engineering team. He is also an open-source enthusiast and has contributed to several open-source projects, including zkEVM, Apache TVM, and RAF. He studied at Tsinghua Yaoban for his undergraduate degree and received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. His research focuses on the field of low-level systems. After graduating, he worked on building machine learning systems at Amazon.
Ye Zhang
Ye Zhang is the co-founder of Scroll. He holds an undergraduate degree from Peking University and has been working on ZK proofs since 2018. Previously, he mainly studied ZK proof hardware acceleration and ZK cryptography algorithm principles, and his Ph.D. is also in the ZK direction.
Cynthia Alexander
Cynthia Alexander is the Co-Founder and CEO of Mentaport. She has expertise in Web3, FinTech, and Computational Biology, bringing a wealth of knowledge to the table. She was the founding lead data scientist at PayJoy, a FinTech company focused on extending credit in emerging markets. Cynthia was instrumental in scaling analytics, AI, and ML initiatives from a few thousand to over a million registered users. Prior to that, she was classically trained as a computational biologist at prestigious institutions such as the University of Cambridge and Max Plank. Together with her co-founder, she is constructing the future of NFTs.

Eleanor Hughes is the General Counsel at Binance.Hughes joined Binance’s Legal team in November 2021. She was subsequently promoted to be the Head of Legal for APAC and MENA, where she oversaw matters in the two regions and managed a team of lawyers specializing in regulatory affairs, M&A, commercial law, and litigation. She was instrumental in securing virtual asset service provider licenses and registrations for Binance in several jurisdictions, including Bahrain, Dubai, and New Zealand. Eleanor is an accomplished legal professional with 15 years of experience in both private practice and in-house roles. She graduated from the University of Cambridge with First Class Honors and, prior to joining Binance, spent more than ten years at US law firms including Skadden, Arps, Slate, and Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates, where she focused on litigation and contentious matters.
