Karen has over 10 years of strategic communications experience, spanning financial, corporate and crisis communications across various industries but predominantly in the technology arena. She started her career with FTI Consulting, advising clients in the disruptive technology sector, from start-ups through to FTSE 250 listed companies in London. She has extensive experience in helping clients with strategy development and implementation, M&A and IPO comms, corporate brand building and positioning, as well as leading media campaigns. Since moving to Hong Kong from London in 2016 she has worked with some of the world’s most well-known communications agencies, as well as in-house for various firms in the technology space, eventually transitioning to advising crypto and Fintech companies including exchanges and digital assets custodians. Karen is currently with First Digital, a qualified custodian and licensed trust company as Head of Communications and Strategic Partnerships. Her role encompasses devising a communications strategy to help elevate brand awareness, building core key messages and company narrative to help position First Digital as a trusted, fintech in an evolving space. In addition to this, she is responsible for overseeing and managing all business development, partnership communication & workflows in Asia. She is a big advocate of women in web3 and is part of many women led projects and networks in the space.

Aleck Lee

Aleck is the CFO of First Digital Trust. Apart from leading its finance team based in different jurisdictions to overview all of the Group's financial and accounting activities, Aleck is also involved in FDT’s fundraising and restructuring. Prior to joining FDT, Aleck was the Asia CFO of a Sweden-listed private equity group with dental prosthetics manufacturing arms in Mainland China and Southeast Asia. He gained unprecedented experience delivering crisis management solutions during the COVID-19 pandemic. Aleck was a British Chevening Scholar and obtained his MSc in Economics and Strategy from Imperial College London. Upon his graduation, he worked in Big4 and accumulated experience in M&A, value creation and audit before working in-house since 2019. Aleck is a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accoutants (HKICPA). He graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Australian National University and Imperial College London.

Vincent Chok

Vincent Chok is First Digital’s CEO, leading the company as it builds out traditional trust and custody solutions into the digital economy and delivers a new level of security, responsiveness and professionalism for individual, corporate and institutional clients with exposure to digital assets. These include exchanges, OTC desks, investment firms, hedge funds and other industry participants who may be obliged to store their digital assets with an accredited financial institution. Before founding First Digital Trust in 2017, Vincent served as CEO of Legacy Trust Company and previously managed mortgage financing and raised capital for commercial real estate in the Canadian Exempt Securities market.

Gunnar Jaerv

As First Digital's Chief Operating Officer, Gunnar brings product development expertise and a thorough understanding of blockchain technology to the executive team. He has played a key role in driving significant growth in the digital assets business as the Head of Digital Assets at Legacy Trust Company. At First Digital Trust, Gunnar is responsible for building efficient operational infrastructure, developing value capture models, maintaining partnerships, and identifying new opportunities for sustainable revenue growth.

Michael Titus

Michael Titus is currently a practicing solicitor in Hong Kong and the principal of Titus Solicitors, a Hong Kong law firm specializing in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law. Prior to establishing Titus, Michael practiced in Singapore and specialized in Merger & Acquisitions and cross-border private equity. At Titus, Michael works with token issuers, exchanges, wallet providers and payment providers, and other companies working on distributed ledger technology, providing them with legal advice on money transmission and securities laws, AML regulations and other applicable regulations. Born and educated in the United States, Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Lehigh University and his Juris Doctor degree from the City University of Hong Kong.
