As CTO of BitGo, Ben Chan led the engineering team and is responsible for the company’s technological architecture and innovation. Ben began building Bitcoin and blockchain infrastructure projects in 2012, including wallet platforms, key management, early blockchain identity management, and machine to machine payments. With vast experience across blockchains and crypto technologies, Ben serves as the core driver for BitGo’s engineering initiatives. Prior to joining BitGo, Ben worked at Microsoft on the conversation understanding platform. Previous to his time at Microsoft, Ben was a partner and quantitative analyst for automated trading at Manticore Investment Group. He also worked as product manager at Zopim Communications and as an engineer at Vr-Zone. Ben holds a degree in computer science from the University of New South Wales.

Arianna Simpson
Before she started investing, Arianna was a Product Manager at BitGo, where she was the third employee. Now, she works for Crystal Towers Capital or Autonomous Partners. I have spent my career in various areas of tech, including two early-stage startups, Facebook, and now venture capital. I developed a strong interest in cryptocurrencies about five years ago, which is when I started investing in Bitcoin. Before joining BitGo, I worked at Facebook in Global Marketing Solutions, based out of the New York office. I often speak about tech-related topics, particularly Bitcoin, and am a regular contributor to several publications. On those rare occasions when I'm not thinking about startups, Bitcoin, or some other tech-related topic, I enjoy skiing, riding my motorcycle, and travelling as much as possible.
