Haichen Shen


Haichen Shen is the co-founder of Scroll and leads the engineering team. He is also an open-source enthusiast and has contributed to several open-source projects, including zkEVM, Apache TVM, and RAF. He studied at Tsinghua Yaoban for his undergraduate degree and received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington. His research focuses on the field of low-level systems. After graduating, he worked on building machine learning systems at Amazon.

Matt is the Co-founder and COO of Fenix Games. He was previously the COO and Head of Games at Mythical Games. Matt started his career at Microsoft, where he was focused on product and partner development as part of the team that created Expedia. After this, he transitioned to the games industry. Before joining Mythical, he was the Vice President and Group General Manager for EA Mobile. Additionally, he managed studios at Glu Mobile, ran indie studio Cie Games (which was sold to Glu in 2014), and held management positions at Blizzard Entertainment and Square Enix, in business development roles.

Cheng-Yu (Carter) Weng is the Founder of TRU3T. He presively worked at Microsoft. Cheng-Yu (Carter) Weng holds a phD from Tsinghua University.

Xiaohan Zhu

Xiaohan Zhu is the CEO of Decentralized Finance Labs and the Managing Partner of ZMT Capital. He has an educational background from Tsinghua University, University of California, San Diego, and University of Pennsylvania.

Changhao Jiang

Changhao Jiang is the Co-founder and CTO of Cobo. In 2013, he launched China's first cryptocurrency wallet, Bihang, which was later acquired by OKCoin. Before his foray into cryptocurrency, Jiang was a platform engineer at Google and Facebook, where he invented the "Big Pipe" protocol, now a widely-adopted industry standard that reduces website load times by loading elements individually. Jiang received his PhD in computer science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In Cobo, he leads product development, security, and overseas expansion.

Henry Chan is the Co-Founder and Head of Product and Innovation at Artifact Labs. Presively he worked at Deloitte Consulting and Amazon.He graduated from University of Washington.

Rachael Horwitz

Rachael Horwitz is the CMO of Haun Ventures, and she was the VP of Communications at Coinbase. Rachael Horowitz currently serves as the first-ever Spark Capital Marketing and Communications Partner. This role will put Horwitz at the head of the firm’s marketing and communications activities, along with community events and initiatives. Horwitz spent nearly five years at Twitter as Communications Director, and then took that experience to Facebook’s Communications department for another 15 months.
