About Power Protocol
Power Protocol is an infrastructure layer for on-chain entertainment that uses $POWER as the shared unit of pricing and settlement, deployed on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Ronin. It abstracts the economic modules studios rebuild for every title, including store pricing, season settlement, staking, fiat onboarding and on-chain value capture, into callable APIs and SDKs, so studios keep control of gameplay and art while sharing one ledger and settlement interface. Its first integration is Pixion Games' mobile action RPG Fableborne, built on a dual loop of kingdom building and real-time PvP raiding, with the seasonal prize pool funded by player spending in the in-game store.
Each season routes a share of store revenue into a pool denominated in $POWER, where players convert Guild Valor into Guild Glory to determine leaderboard payouts, and those below the cutoff receive nothing at season close. On the ecosystem side, Power Labs brings in third-party teams whose products must either price in $POWER or recycle value through buybacks and token swaps. Season 5, which opened on 12 August 2026, directs 95% of store spending into the pool versus 70% in Season 4, which accumulated about 1.66 million $POWER; the competitive race began on 17 August. OpenSea now accepts $POWER directly for NFT purchases.
Power Protocol secured $3 million in funding led by Bitkraft Ventures, establishing capital backing for its blockchain gaming infrastructure.
Team-affiliated addresses transferred 30 million POWER tokens to exchanges, triggering a 90% token price collapse and highlighting governance risks with lasting market impact.
Token unlocks: Of the 1B max supply, about 210M tokens (21%) circulate while roughly 59% remains under vesting lockups, with about 12M unlocked in April; team wallet movements and unlock fears have driven sell pressure, and future releases remain an overhang.
Setback and progress: After crashing from its $2.46 high in March, POWER fell to about $0.056 in June; Binance Wallet ran a two-stage Alpha campaign in August, and the token rebounded 61.85% to $0.1916 on Sep 15; flagship game Fableborne has over 380K test players and about $1.1M in revenue, with market cap near $18.3M on Sep 8.
