About Chromia
Chromia launched its mainnet MVP on July 16, 2024, marking the official start of its native token CHR and network operations. In September 2024, CHR staking became available, followed by an incentive testing program with 250,000 CHR rewards. The Mimir mainnet upgrade, completed in Q1 2025, introduced key AI-focused extensions such as Vector Database and AI Inference, aligning with Chromia's strategic pivot toward blockchain-based AI. Additionally, Mines of Dalarnia migrated to Chromia mainnet in Q4, demonstrating real-world adoption. These milestones—mainnet launch, staking, Mimir upgrade, and ecosystem migrations—represent foundational steps for long-term network growth and AI integration.
From March to September 2026, positive factors for Chromia include: joining Binance's Liquidity Boost program in April (through July), improving CHR market liquidity; completion of migration to native staking on mainnet, with EVM staking rewards reduced to zero on April 1, while mainnet staking offers 3% APY plus provider fee share; network milestones of 22 million transactions and 1 million accounts; continued progress on AI agent infrastructure, including x402 protocol integration and launches like ATBASH.
