About Zebec Network
Zebec Network is a real-time streaming payment protocol built on blockchain. Its core business enables money to flow continuously by the second, rather than in traditional lump-sum payments at fixed intervals. The primary use case is payroll: employers deposit funds into a smart contract, and employees receive their earned wages in real time, eliminating the wait for bi-weekly or monthly pay cycles. This model also supports contractor payments, vendor settlements, and DAO treasury distributions.
The market pain point Zebec addresses is the inefficiency of batch payment systems—delayed access to earned income, high remittance costs, and cash flow friction for businesses. By using stablecoins and its own token ZBCN, Zebec provides a programmable payment rail that reduces settlement time from days to seconds, and allows for conditional or milestone-based releases.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Zebec has made notable progress: it partnered with Solstice Finance to integrate USX, an interest-bearing dollar, into its payroll network, allowing pre-funded payroll balances to generate yield before payday. The SuperApp entered final testing, planned for Q2 2026 release, which will combine payroll, card spending, staking, and treasury management in one interface. Additionally, RLUSD is being used to power real-time enterprise payroll on Zebec's infrastructure.
However, there are negative developments within two years: in 2025, South Korean exchange Bithumb delisted ZBCN, citing "unfulfilled rewards and opaque operations." Zebec Foundation challenged this in court but the injunction was denied, and the delisting proceeded. No regulatory enforcement actions or protocol-level security incidents have been found.
Zebec Network, originally launched as Zebec Protocol on Solana in 2021, pioneered real-time streaming payments, enabling continuous money flows for payroll, subscriptions, and investments. In 2024, it executed a 1:10 token migration from ZBC to ZBCN, preserving total supply and governance while rebranding to Zebec Network. In May 2025, Zebec acquired Science Card, a UK-based academic payment platform, expanding its card ecosystem into education and research finance, strengthening its position in bridging traditional and crypto payments.
Over the past six months (2025-03-15 to 2025-09-15), Zebec Network (ZBCN) saw several bullish factors: the buyback program continued, funded by operating revenue from payroll, cards, and stablecoin payments, with buyback volume growing at an annualized rate of over 70%; the final token unlock was completed in March 2025, making supply fully distributed and deflationary; and partnerships expanded, including MoneyGram/Stellar integration for stablecoin cash-in/out in 170+ countries and Solstice's USX integration enabling yield on prefunded payroll balances. No major bearish factors were reported in this period.
