About stakefish
stakefish is a blockchain staking service provider that operates validator infrastructure for multiple proof-of-stake networks, including Ethereum, Solana, and Cosmos. Its core business is non-custodial staking: users retain control of their assets while stakefish runs the validator nodes, handles block production, and distributes rewards. The company also offers a multi-chain staking API and SDK, allowing wallets, exchanges, and other platforms to integrate staking functionality with a single interface.
stakefish's main value proposition is cost efficiency and reward stability. It charges a blended commission of about 4.30% on Ethereum (0% on protocol rewards, 50% on execution-layer rewards), which is lower than many competitors. It also operates a MAX MEV smoothing pool that distributes execution-layer rewards daily, reducing the variance caused by unpredictable block proposals. This addresses common pain points in staking: high fees, delayed or irregular reward payouts, and the technical complexity of running validators.
Over the past six months (March to September 2026), stakefish has continued to operate without major incidents. Its February 2026 performance report showed an Ethereum APR of 2.99% (vs. 2.91% network average) and a Solana APY of 5.78% (vs. 4.54% network average), though no newer public data is available for the March-September period. No significant negative events have been reported in the last two years.
In 2013, founder Wang Chun co-founded f2pool, gaining experience in PoW mining pools. After discussing PoS prospects with Vitalik in 2017, he founded stakefish in 2018, becoming an early PoS staking service provider. On November 23, 2020, stakefish deposited its first Ethereum validator #10407 and became a genesis validator on the Beacon Chain. In February 2021, it joined the Lido protocol as an early node operator. In 2023, it launched Classic staking (no contract risk, batch validators), Validator NFT (easy transfer and collateralization), Safe multisig wallet integration, custom withdrawal credentials and EigenLayer restaking support, as well as Holesky testnet support. These milestones demonstrate the transition from PoW to PoS and continued commitment to the Ethereum staking ecosystem.
Over the past six months (March–September 2026), stakefish has made several major strides. In February 2026, it launched a Multi-Chain Staking API and SDK supporting 9+ PoS chains (Babylon, Cardano, Cosmos, EigenLayer, Monad, Polygon, Starknet, SUI, zkVerify), enabling wallets, exchanges, and custodians to integrate staking via a unified interface. That same month, it introduced the Client Staking API, a non-custodial solution for institutions to offer staking while retaining user custody.
In March 2026, stakefish rolled out treasury-focused dashboards and reporting tools, including downloadable CSV reports and API access for audit-ready operations. It also announced support for Bitcoin staking on Starknet, the first L2 with dual-token consensus, offering 3.2% APY on tokenized BTC with non-custodial delegation.
Operationally, stakefish now manages over $3 billion in staked assets across 20+ networks, with SOC2-compliant infrastructure, zero slashing events, and strong returns (2.99% ETH APR, 5.78% SOL APY).
Looking ahead, stakefish plans to expand SDK language support, deepen chain-specific APIs (notably for Ethereum and Solana), and continue scaling its multi-chain staking infrastructure to meet institutional demand.
