About OpenEden
OpenEden is a real-world asset (RWA) tokenization platform whose core business is bringing traditional assets such as U.S. Treasuries and high-yield corporate bonds on-chain. Flagship products include tokenized T-bills (TBILL), tokenized high-yield bonds (HYBOND), and the T-bill-backed stablecoin USDO. Its competitiveness lies in its regulated structure (Bermuda Class F license), bankruptcy-remote segregation, institutional-grade custody (BNY), and transparent verification. It views compliance as merely a threshold requirement, with the real moat in distribution, liquidity, and collateral utility. It addresses transparency and compliance pain points in bringing yield-bearing assets on-chain, particularly after a wave of synthetic stablecoin failures heightened market demand for transparent, auditable reserves.
In the past half year (March–September 2026), OpenEden launched HYBOND in April, bringing high-yield corporate bonds on-chain; entered the Hong Kong market through a partnership with licensed venue Ex.IO; and expanded USDO use cases to Binance OTC collateral and Galaxy derivatives margin. As of July 2026, the tokenized RWA sector reached $31 billion.
OpenEden completed a strategic financing round backed by Ripple and Lightspeed Faction, strengthening its RWA infrastructure.
Its TBILL fund earned an AA+ rating from S&P Global, enhancing institutional credibility. The platform launched cUSDO, a yield-bearing stablecoin on Solana fully backed by tokenized U.S. Treasuries. Team and advisor token lock-ups were extended by nine months, signaling sustained commitment.
Positive: In March 2026, the team extended team/advisor token lockups by 9 months to January 2027, cutting near-term circulating supply by ~34%; listed on Upbit on Aug 10, surging 92% in a day; Ripple invested $10M in TBILL vault, Arbitrum DAO allocated 4M ARB; also bought back 30K USDC worth of EDEN.
Negative: EDEN has no protocol revenue sharing; platform fees are tiny (Q2 management fees only $39.6K), with underlying yield going mostly to TBILL/USDO holders; token is down over 90% from Binance listing high; top 10 wallets hold 89.2% of supply, extreme whale concentration; buyback/burn is only a "potential future use case", no real deflation.
Jeremy Ng: Founder & CEO. Previously held senior roles at Goldman Sachs, Leonteq, and Gemini.
Duke Du: CTO. Ex-Bybit Tech Lead, Web3 mentor, and creator of a popular Solidity tutorial (1K+ GitHub stars).
Wayne Tan: General Counsel. Former Head of Legal at Sygnum Bank and Senior Associate at Duane Morris & Selvam LLP.
