About Shaga
Shaga is a decentralized cloud gaming platform built on DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks). It lets PC owners share idle computing power as nodes, while gamers can stream and play PC games on low-end devices like phones or laptops. The core business is a peer-to-peer network that connects game demand with idle GPU supply, aiming to reduce latency by using nearby nodes instead of distant data centers.
The main problem it addresses is the high cost and limited access of traditional cloud gaming, which relies on expensive centralized data centers. Shaga tries to solve this by using distributed, user-supplied hardware, which can lower infrastructure costs and bring computing closer to players. Its narrative centers on community-powered infrastructure, where participants both contribute resources and earn rewards.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Shaga has been running its live testnet called Gamenet, which validates the network before a token generation event. The platform has reportedly grown to over 696,000 registered users, with ongoing upgrades to its global node network. However, there are no major negative events reported in the last two years, aside from typical challenges like network stability and user adoption in a competitive market.
Shaga's co-founders and key executives:
Guido Rocco Pardini - Founder & CEO. Previously built distributed infrastructure projects (Stigmergy, Solarity).
Thomas Meta - Co-Founder. Background in engineering and design.
Daeshawn Ballard - Co-Founder & COO. Focus on operations and growth.
All three are based in the US, with Shaga operating as a DePIN cloud gaming network.
