About Everyrealm
Everyrealm is a company focused on operating and developing virtual real estate in the metaverse. It buys and builds digital land and buildings in worlds such as Decentraland, The Sandbox, and Axie Infinity, using NFTs to establish ownership. It has produced virtual property projects like Metajuku shopping center and Fantasy Islands, and runs Realm Academy, an educational platform that helps newcomers understand Web3 and the metaverse.
Its core narrative is that digital worlds need land, property rights, and community experiences similar to the physical world. Everyrealm tries to address the problems of virtual assets lacking a sense of belonging and users having little say in building their environments, allowing players and residents to own, trade, and create virtual spaces.
In the past six months, Everyrealm launched Hometopia, a free virtual real-estate game aimed at adults. Players can build homes and communities with friends and own what they create. The game was in development for more than three years and aims for an experience similar to The Sims.
On the negative side, its related project Everyworld issued a token called EVERY that reportedly fell sharply from its all-time high and was flagged as high-risk by a trading platform. Everyrealm also states on its website that it has supported more than 40 crypto and community projects, but the virtual real-estate market remains heavily dependent on crypto market sentiment.
Founded in 2021 (formerly Republic Realm), Everyrealm focused on metaverse real estate investment and became one of the largest holders in the field. In February 2022, it completed a $60 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz, highlighting capital's confidence in metaverse land. The company holds over 3,000 NFTs, has invested in 25 metaverse worlds, and developed projects such as the Metajuku shopping center, Fantasy Islands, and Realm Academy, advancing practical applications of digital real estate. These milestones established its first-mover position and reflect the industry's evolution from concept to asset class.
In March 2026, Everyrealm launched Hometopia, a free-to-play virtual real estate and home design game developed over three years. Players can build virtual homes and communities with friends and own their in-game creations. Developer Alex Ahlund, who worked on Design This Home and Design This Castle, aims for success comparable to The Sims. No official future roadmap has been announced.
