About Reactive Network
Reactive Network is a fully EVM-compatible, event-driven execution layer from PARSIQ whose core innovation is Reactive Smart Contracts (RSCs) that actively subscribe to events on other chains and autonomously initiate on-chain transactions when conditions are met, instead of passively waiting for user calls. It targets the EVM limitation of 'publish but not subscribe', on-chain data silos, and high gas blocking automated interaction by using a Relayer Network to monitor events cross-chain and executing RSCs in a dedicated ReactVM environment with multithreaded parallelism. Native REACT pays fees and staking validation, with PRQ swappable 1:1 after mainnet. The Lasna testnet completed its Omni fork migration in 2026.
Reactive takes an Inversion-of-Control (IoC) paradigm across cross-chain automation and AI integration, distinct from traditional cross-chain schemes needing oracles or off-chain bots, with use cases spanning cross-chain DeFi, event-driven automation, multi-chain NFTs, and decentralized oracles. RSC execution requires the Relayer Network to continuously monitor source-chain events and hand them to ReactVM, adding cross-chain monitoring and coordination overhead versus ordinary EVM contracts, and developers must rewrite logic in rSolidity to adopt the paradigm.
Tokenomics and upgrade: The official blog announced REACT is moving from open-ended issuance to a fixed-supply model with a maximum supply of 2.4 billion tokens, while protocol fees continue to be burned permanently; the Lasna testnet has completed its migration to the Omni fork, with the mainnet Omni fork planned to launch within the month.
Staking incentives: Staking Season 8 closed on September 13 with 194 stakers holding about 108.3 million REACT at an 11.88% APY against a 1 million REACT reward budget; Season 9 opened on the very next block and runs through October 14.
