About Kiln

Kiln is a non-custodial staking infrastructure provider for institutional clients, supporting over a dozen proof-of-stake chains including Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, and Polygon. Its core business spans Validator-as-a-Service, a unified staking dashboard, and the Kiln Onchain smart contract suite, which enables partners (wallets, custodians, exchanges) to build white-label staking products such as dedicated validators, tokenized validators, staking pools, and liquid staking.

Its core competitiveness lies in the non-custodial architecture—client assets remain under their own custody (e.g., via Fireblocks, BitGo) while Kiln handles validator operations and reward management—combined with SOC2 Type II certification, 99%+ uptime SLAs, and fully onchain-transparent fund flows. This directly addresses industry pain points: Ethereum's lack of an onchain commission system, opaque fund flows in existing staking offerings, and the difficulty of customizing staking products without established operator standards.

In the past six months (March–September 2026), Kiln advanced native priority-fee sharing for Solana delegators (expected on mainnet in Q3/Q4 2026 alongside the Agave 4.1 validator client), requiring no action from stakers. On Ethereum, it supported EIP-7002 execution-layer-triggered withdrawals, validator effective balances up to 2,048 ETH enabling auto-compounding (~1.5% relative APR uplift), and faster validator activation (~45 minutes when the queue is empty).

Updated: Sep 12, 2026

Founded in 2018, Kiln has become the largest independent staking provider on Ethereum, securing over 4% of the network and $13B+ in assets. In January 2024, it raised $17M, bringing total funding to $35M, and launched inclusive staking pools with partners. In November 2025, Kiln introduced Railnet, an open yield layer for programmable on-chain asset management. In March 2026, CoinShares became the first asset manager building strategies on Railnet, a milestone for institutional adoption. Kiln also expanded into TON with enterprise-grade pooled staking, achieving ~15% APY and attracting significant capital inflow, strengthening its position in the TON ecosystem. Additionally, its partnership with Google Cloud improved infrastructure performance and paved the way for marketplace availability.
