About FastLane

FastLane is a hybrid MEV protocol built for the Polygon ecosystem. Its core business addresses a fundamental issue: Polygon's public mempool exposes pending transactions to everyone, enabling bots to front-run trades, execute sandwich attacks, and spam the network with junk transactions. FastLane introduces an encrypted transaction pool where transaction content is hidden until block production, reducing predatory MEV. It also operates an auction mechanism where validators can earn additional revenue by selling block space priority, creating a cleaner incentive structure.

The main pain point solved is the toxic MEV environment on Polygon, which harms ordinary users through worse prices and network congestion. By encrypting transactions and providing a fair auction system, FastLane helps reduce spam and improves the overall trading experience for regular users while giving validators a legitimate revenue stream.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), a notable development was the acquisition of FastLane's Atlas product by Chainlink. Atlas, which extends Chainlink's SVR (oracle extractable value) capabilities to multiple chains, was integrated into Chainlink's infrastructure. This move aims to expand SVR's reach beyond Ethereum, bringing MEV recapture benefits to more DeFi protocols. FastLane continues to operate independently while supporting this transition.

Over the past six months, FastLane has made significant strides in the Monad ecosystem. In March 2026, its TVL surpassed $100 million within 48 hours, driven by the adoption of its liquid staking token protocol, shMonad, which distributes staking rewards to Monad nodes, DeFi applications, and validators.

A major development was Chainlink's acquisition of FastLane's Atlas product, integrating it into Chainlink SVR (Smart Value Recapture). Atlas, originally designed for order flow auctions in DeFi liquidations, now supports Chainlink's multi-chain SVR deployment, expanding revenue opportunities for DeFi protocols across networks like Arbitrum, Base, and Ethereum.

Looking ahead, FastLane's roadmap focuses on migrating nodes from testnet to mainnet and integrating with multiple DeFi protocols. The team is also advancing its fully decentralized MEV protocol, which leverages a sidecar and auction handler contract to enable validators to capture MEV directly without centralized relays, aligning with Monad's decentralization principles. This positions FastLane to enhance validator yields while maintaining a trustless ecosystem.
